FOTON Elevates Aftersales Support, Rolls Out New Customer Service Program

In a bid to further elevate the customer service experience, FOTON Motor Philippines Inc. (FMPI) is rolling out industry-leading after-sales programs to support its growing network of fleet partners, from Metro Manila to the provinces.

Representatives from FOTON’s highly trained after-sales team personally scrutinize and attend to the immediate mobility needs of its customers at different points of the country under its new campaign, FOTON Fleet Check Back Program.

San Pedro Transport Service Cooperative Chairman Mar Majait waxes optimistic as he underscored the importance of aftersales support, as they were among the first customers to be acquainted with the new program. “Napakahalaga sa amin ng aftersales dahil nandiyan ang buhay ng operations namin” says Chairman Majait. “Ang masasabi ko lang, hindi kami nagkamali ng pagpili sa FOTON” he added.

Driver Technical Fleet Training

Taking part in the brand’s support drive, the FOTON aftersales professional technical team physically conducts in-depth seminars among clients’ drivers by tackling mechanical Issues utilized with visual diagrams, proper vehicle handling of engine, transmission, and brakes, down to basic troubleshooting and even answering frequently asked questions (FAQs), all taking place in the customer’s most convenient premises.

Set to provide essential information pertaining to their FOTON commercial vehicles, the training is eyed to equip the drivers with vital know-how to maximize the utilization and performance of the vehicles while ensuring everyone’s safety.

Attendees laid out positive responses after joining the said seminars, “Sa tingin ko, maganda ang magiging samahan ng J&T at ng FOTON kapag nagpatuloy ang ganitong programa ng FOTON” says Lauriano Palmones, a senior driver from J&T Express Philippines.

Free On-site Inspection

To guarantee top performance for daily operations, fleet units are also entitled to free on-site inspection under the FOTON Fleet Check Back Program, wherein each unit will be stringently checked by the proficient FOTON technical team.

Equipped with essential knowledge and advanced automotive diagnostic equipment including the FOTON Automated Truck Scanner, the team will make sure that the fleet units are in their optimal running condition. Crucial vehicle parts will be thoroughly inspected for any fault or damage including the engine, transmission, steering, brakes, tires and lights.

If any discrepancies are to be found on any units after the Free On-Site Inspection, the EC Mobile Truck that carries a complete and comprehensive array of tools and equipment is on hand with the technical team to perform any necessary repairs or perform preventive maintenance service.
